— Wine sampling near BRNO —
This trip can be made anytime in a year. I offer you to explore the beautiful vineyards of the Moravian countryside while learning all about the history of viticulture and wine production in the Czech Republic's main wine-producing region, as well as the history and culture of the people living in the villages nearby. The vineyards are mostly located south of Brno, on the way to Austria and along the Slovak border.
Check what the New York Times wrote about this wine region in 2016.
We will travel to a rustic wine cellar, where the smell of earth and brick hangs heavy in the air. Enjoy guided wine and food tasting, where you will sample rare and traditional local foods and snacks of the region. Get a taste of Czech history!
I will pick you up, drive you to the vineyards where we can sample some wine, then we will go to the wine cellar to have some snack or lunch and there you can enjoy unlimited wine sampling . In a "happy mood" you will be taken back to Brno (your hotel) or the place of your stay.
